I love you all so much!!  It was so much fun to read all of your letters and get all of the pictures.  What a great family I have!!

Also I want to say to Heather that I love your face and I am sure you are even greater with your 28 face! I am sure it is very cute! I hope your birthday was very happy! I love you so much!

The week was just great!!! I am serious ... the weeks get better and better here in Apoquindo and my desire to leave this place gets smaller and smaller.  I am going to miss Apoquindo! I hate it when God takes away people I love!

To start, Y__ continues to progress little by little.  She is a sweetheart.  I love her face!  We went to a members house to show her some videos on Mormon channel.  She liked it a lot.  At the end I told her that we are taking her to a lot of houses so that she can get to know all of the members so that she can have friends when we leave.  She started to cry because she knew that that meant I was telling her that I am leaving.  It was really hard.  She wants out of the world she lives in.  She tells us all of the time that she would do anything to have the hope we have but the problem is having the courage and the self control and the faith to actually take the steps. It is not easy to give up alcohol  and smoking when the end goal seems so far away.  I love her though because she continues with her energy and her laughter.  She loves everything.  Super buena onda!  She always finds something to be grateful for even when her story seems bleak.  We will keep working with her.

C__ is probably my favorite person ever! I love that woman!  She is just quietly good! She goes about doing good and never expects anything in return.  Her daughter is very sick mentally and they took away her kids because of it.  Now C__ and the other grandma are in charge of taking care of these kids (nine and four). It has been really hard on her but she moves forward with a faith like I have never seen.  I think that after losing my own son in my very house because someone killed him would have made me give up a while ago but she continues to move forward even though now her only family left has gotten so sick that she cannot even take care of her kids.  Her grand kids are so cute though!!  She finally came to church and it looked like it really helped her a lot. I learn a lot from her example.

P__ and her family continue to be as cute as can be.  I love them! E__ has new work where he works at a mine in the middle of a desert. He carries these giant cables all day and puts them some where that helps take out the copper. I am not really sure how it works but he was really cute about it because he said that he had been praying for work really hard.  There was one day when he was working hard in the hot desert sun and he was thinking about quitting and then he realized that God had answered his prayers.  Then he told us that he stopped complaining and went to work.  What a great way to look at life!  Sometimes it is hard to accept answers from God because it usually means more hard work, but once we realize that it is becuase we have a loving Heavenly Father who answers our prayers which always means progression in some way.  I feel like that with love.  When I pray for love, He gives it to me and then when I complain to Him for making it hurt so much when people don´t progress, He has to remind me that I asked for it!

L__ came to church again yesterday!  That was pretty fun! J__ is a saint.  She is trying so hard to get this guy to come.  It is frustrating because when he listens to us he likes it.  He knows it is true, but the fact that he likes it and knows it is true means that he is going to have to make some changes in his life which is never easy and people usually like to avoid that. We did find a new investigator this week in her house.  He is from the south and he listened to the whole lesson and had questions at the end.  It was really exciting.  I hope he continues to progress.

C__ could not be cuter!  I put "Soy Mormon!" in the subject line for him this week.  We were giving a lesson and he said, I don´t mean to be mean or anything but I could not beileve it when I found out these people that I knew in everyday life are Mormon.  I don´t know how I did not know before every time I walk in to a new place I want to throw my hands up in the air and yell "Soy mormon!" (I am mormon!)  I love that guy so much!  I realized he has a point.  Why don´t we do that more often!?  We should be like grandpa and C__ and remind people all of the time that we have something that they want!  And share it with them!  It is so fun to watch him change and watch him share it with other people!  The gospel is real!  I love being a part of it!  He got the priesthood this week and went back and kissed his cute wife.  I love seeing them together now!  They are so united!  I am so happy that all of the blessings of the priesthood and the Holy Ghost are filling their home!  What a cool equation God has for us.  Now C__ will be able to baptize his cute wife!!

M__ is getting baptized on Sunday!!  I am so excited!  She is ready!  She really wants to get baptized!  And to make things even better their daughter has a date!  She is going to get baptized on the 8th of June!!  God is so good!  I cannot even begin to describe the changes that have happened in that family!  We are usually there pretty much every day!  Wait!, there is more!!  Al__ is listening to us!  He has listened to one whole lesson and we ate lunch with him!  He is a really good kid.  First we have to help him believe in God and then we are on our way!  But really, this family is really sweet.  And this gospel really does strengthen us and bring us together.

I love you all so much!!  I am still learning a lot about love.  I know I talk about it all of the time but it makes me so happy!  I love love!  When I love other people and there are no other silly emotions that take up room it is really as sweet as Lehi says in his dream.  I love the Mother Teresa quote when she says "don´t judge people, because you won´t have time to love them."  I think that is true of all of the emotions in Moroni 7 that are bad. When Moroni was telling us the emotions or the things we should avoid he was telling us that we would lose the sweetness of the love!  I don´t know if I am explaining myself well.  I just am saying that I love loving without any other motivaions attached to get in the way.  I love loving each and every one of you!  Like mom says it just proves that God lives to me!  This is the kind of joy that He wanted us to enjoy when He said that in 2 Nephi 2. It is real!  I love you all so much!  I am learning little by little to clean that love even more so it can be more and more like my Savior´s love.  The kind of love that is free of selfishness, pride and anger.  Of course, that kind of pure love only comes from Christ.  He really is the source of everything, good.  Which makes it even better that He is also the promise keeper!  I love what mom said about hope!  I hope in Him!  He keeps His promises!  I love you all!  Have a great week!  Share the gospel with someone!  Declare that you are Mormon! It is fun!
